Rope Bridge Cameras detect and photograph arboreal animals on rope bridges and on other natural pathways.
This Rope Bridge System includes two Remote Wireless Cameras, one for each end of the rope bridge to capture both partial and completed crossings. Proximity Sensors attached to the rope bridge detect passing animals triggering the connected Remote Wireless Camera. Photos are recorded and saved to the camera's onboard SD card, as well as being transmitted to the nearby Wireless Base Station. . This station serves as a central storage unit and mounted in an accessible location allows researchers to download data without having to access the Remote Cameras directly. Additional Cameras can be deployed if required, a single Wireless Base Station can service up to 15 Remote Wireless Cameras.
The system is completely independent operating on its own secure wireless network, no internet or WiFi connection is required.
Key features include: Operates on a unique wireless network, eliminating the need for cellular or internet service, which is useful in remote areas. Robust steel security cases with fully adjustable mounts ensuring consistent camera alignment. Battery powered with solar panel backup to provide continuous operation. Wireless image transmission to a central base station for easy retrieval
