wireless rope bridge camera system

Description

Rope Bridge Camera System detects & records the behaviors of arboreal wildlife on rope bridge crossings & at feed stations. The system comprises two REMOTE CAMERAS with Sensors and POWER BOXES and one powered BASE STATION.

As animals pass in front of the Proximity Sensor their presence is detected triggering the Remote Camera, three images are recorded with each trigger. High resolution images are stored on the Remote Camera's SD card & backup images are transmitted wirelessly to the nearby Base Station where they are stored locally to SD card. With the Base Station mounted at a readily accessible location photos from all of the Remote Cameras can be easily retrieved. The system operates on its own unique wireless network, NO internet or mobile service is required.

Remote Cameras come with a robust steel security case that can be readily adapted to suit a wide variety of mounting options. The case incorporates an internal camera mounting rail insuring that the camera always returns to the exact same alignment.

Day time photos are colour, night photos are black & white, at night the target area is illuminated by the camera's 850nm infra red led array.

The Camera utilises a unique wildlife Proximity Sensor, it DOES NOT have a PIR sensor as these are prone to false triggering resulting in erratic operation. Proximity Sensor connects to the camera via a 4m long cable.

Remote Camera with security case is 110w x 110d x 180h & weighs 1500g, the case has four 6mm threaded mount ports on the rear. Swivel mount brackets are also available. Standard camera power cable is 4m long, longer cable are available.

Multiple Remote Camera (up to 15) can connect wirelessly & send their photos to a single Base Station.

power box with solar backup

POWER BOX powers a single Remote Camera with Sensor over a 4m long power cable. It incorporates a safe SLA battery, we do NOT use lithium batteries due to their high fire risk.

Power Box has a storage capacity of 108 watts & is capable of supplying sufficient power to provide for continuous camera/ sensor operation when used in conjunction with its 10 watt Solar Panel.

The lockable Power Box's steel case is powder coated, measuring 200 x 300 x 120 & weighs 4.5kg.

Solar Panel includes mounting bracket and connecting charge cable. Extension charge cables available.

BASE Station with solar backup

The Base Station incorporates a the Master wireless receiver unit which processes & stores backup photos from all the Remote Cameras in its network.

Power is provided from the onboard 108 watt SLA battery with battery management/ solar charging circuitry capable of extended continuous operation.

The lockable Base Station steel case is powder coated, measuring 200 x 300 x 120 & weighs 6.5kg.

Solar Panel includes mounting bracket and connecting charge cable. Extension charge cables available.

Proximity sensors

Proximity sensor p-1

P-1 Sensor is triggered by passing animals as they move through the sensor's 90° detection zone.

They are designed to be mounted horizontally & will detect animals approaching from either direction. Two aluminum mounting brackets are provided.

Sensor can also be mounted vertically but the cable MUST be at the base.

The P-1 Sensor has a 4m connecting cable, longer cables can be ordered. Size is 30 diameter x 200mm long.
